My name is Amber Lee and I'm a junior at SUNY Purchase College. I'm an arts management major with a focus on the music industry. (Hence the music blog, duh.)
I am 20 (in earth years) and a vegetarian. (I sound like a hippie...)
I swear you won't just hear "hipster indie" music! I like a bit of every genre of music!
Anything from Local Natives to One Direction to A Day To Remember to A Tribe Called Quest to The Beatles to Frank Ocean to Drake to Justin Timberlake to Miley Cyrus to Taylor Swift to Blake Shelton to Little Mix to Knife Party to Zedd to New Found Glory etc, etc. You catch my drift. I like everything!
I'd like to hope that with this blog I will be able to help spread the joy of music and keep people truly excited about finding new artists and bands. I think people have lost that excitement and I want to bring that back!
What I think is cool and different about this blog is that I'd really be stoked if you guys tell me about music you think deserves go be given a chance. In the meantime I'll be doing some music trolling myself until I get a super gnarly following (if I ever get one, but only time will tell).
Now I know I’m not gonna like everything I hear, so please don’t hate me if I don’t like your/their work. It just might not be my cup of tea! If I don’t like it I won’t say anything bad about it! I’m not about bad vibes.
You know what they say! “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything!”
I'll be posting weekly with probable fluff posts in between. I'll definitely be including pics and vids! (Cause everyone likes visuals and audio!!)
