Coyote Campus
(they look like a bunch of hipster misfits...)
Coyote Campus seem like a bunch of cool dudes, but seeing as I haven't met them I'm just gonna tell you how awesome their music is.
Let's meet them, shall we?
Brendon Caroselli: Percussion and Backup Vocals
Jonathan Sacca: Lead Guitar and Backup Vocals
Dean Torrey: Bass and Backup Vocals
Andrew Cowie: Sax, Clarinet and also Backup Vocals
Andrew Russell: Trumpet, Guitar, anything else you can possibly imagine and also backup vocals
Yeah theres quite a few of them.
These lovely fellows started back in 2010 until the band lineup was official and thus was born Coyote Campus.
They've got a very triumphant indie sound that you could probably hear on a movie soundtrack in the Tribeca Film Fest.
But in all seriousness these guys have a great sound and catchy lyrics. I usually find myself subconsciously bobbing my head to the beats and just thoroughly enjoying the music flowing into my ears.
They haven't released much in a while, but that's only because they've been working on some new music!
Their most recent project was released last year and is pretty cool.
Inspired by his walk from his sisters apartment to the train station, Sean McVerry, created and entire EP. He walked from W80th to Grand Central Station and the outcome of the EP was sick. You can obviously tell how he was inspired by the music that the city offers with the sound of buses, laughter and children under the music he created. Y'all can even try the same walk he did and listen to the ep!
But I'm pretty much lovin' Greg's Wine off their 6 track album called People You Know that they release back in 2011.
Check it out!
Y'all can also check out all their social media goodness. They're a little sporadic on updates, but I'm hopeful that it's because they've been working in the studio!
Bandcamp
Give me more music guys!!!
Also...I don't know what the fox says, but the coyote says some nice things.
Stay Gnarly y'all!
xoxo Amberlee
