Love Life, Baby. It'll Never Come Again.

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudes.

I love these guys.

West Of Aldine

So I was trolling along through the Gnarly Noise twitter account followers today and was, as usual, going through the artists and bands that follow. I went through some terrible metal music with a stiff frontman and my eyes rolled so far back in my head I thought I'd lost them.

Seriously. Horrid.

Then I stumble upon West Of Aldine. Their twitter bio said "Groove Rock. Positive music." and of course I'm all about Positive vibes and such so I had some hope that they'd be alright.

Oh my lanta.

They're more than alright!

Let's meet them first, ok?

Christian Hulting -
Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar

Zach Grusznski -
Lead Guitar/Supporting Vocals

Anthony Maahs -
Bass Guitar/Supporting Vocals/Keys

Jesse Mattila -
Drums/Electonic Drums/Supporting Vocals

(Dear Mr. Hulting, I've got a massive crush on your vocals. Reminds me of Brandon Boyd of Incubus. So lovely. *insert heart eye emoji.*)

This unsigned (what?!) Minneapolis, MN, indie/pop groove band has captured my eardrums with their funky rhythms, foot tapping beats and super catchy lyrics. Give them a listen if you like to groove.

But can we talk about their harmonies!?

If you know me personally than you know my obsession with harmonies and MY GAWD the harmonies in this group is amazing. (I watched a snippet of them doing a Prince cover of When Doves Cry and melted.)

Now currently they are touring all over the midwest since the release of their album Undivided back in February. Along with touring, they are currently in the middle of a self-initiated Keep The Music high school tour where they donate 20% of merchandise proceeds to music departments all over the states of MN & WI.

How sweet is that?

Is  that not enough? No.

They've also performed at SXSW and RedGorilla Music Fest in Austin, TX. That's just awesome.

In the midst of touring they even managed to put out a music video!

 (P.s Why wasn't I invited?)

If you're liking them as much as I am then like/follow/subscribe!
