Straight Out Of Compton...I mean Yonkers.

Man, I love the smell of a fresh new blog post.


So this is the start of Gnarly Noise! Woo!

What better way to start then with the intro of some cool dudes from my hometown of Yonkers, New York!

                    One Fell Swoop

Based out of Yonkers, NY, One Fell Swoop is an unsigned punk rock band made up of some of the nicest, funniest, and raddest dudes. 

The band consists of vocalist and guitarist AJ Chiarella, bassist and vocalist John Rodriguez, guitarist Brandon Florich, and drummer Frank De Santis.

Their music consists of really dope riffs and super sweet breaks if you like that kinda stuff.

They've released a demo Afraid To Leave The Stoop waaaay back in the year 2012. So long ago, I know! Since then they've gotten busy and recorded three EPs: Hole in One Fell Swoop, Acoustic Benefit (This EP was to benefit those affected by Hurricane Sandy), and their most current The House Leaks.

Take a listen to them and hear for yourself why I think they're so rad.

They recently went on a tour of the east coast during the month of August with When It Counts and Scoutmaster Jack.

These guys are a force to be reckoned with. They support the local music scene and have had the opportunity to play with some big name bands! (Bayside, Set Your Goals, The Front Bottoms, Real Friends, and Modern Baseball to name a few)

If you have the chance, check these guys out. They're super dedicated to what they do and (I think) they're going to go places.
